Young's Dairy with Grandma, Grandpa & Tante

We met Grandma, Grandpa & Tante earlier this week. After a picnic lunch, we fed the goats and played on the playground. Then we enjoyed some homemade ice cream. Georgia had her favorite, "blue" (cotton candy) but managed to finish Tante's dish of raspberry ice cream, as well.

We spent some time at COSI this weekend. Although you cannot tell from these photos, Grandad met us there (Supernana had to work.) and we all had a great time.

Orchardly Park

The new neighborhood spray park opened a few weeks ago. Georgia loves it!

Destination: Chicago!!

We spent the holiday weekend with our friends who've recently moved to a town outside of Chicago. After exploring their new neighborhood for a couple of days, we took the train into the city on Saturday and spent some time in Millenium and Grant Parks, as well as touring the famed Magnificent Mile via trolley.

Before heading home on Sunday, the three of us went to the Lincoln Park Zoo and spent a little time at one of the many gorgeous beaches in Chicago. We enjoyed the zoo and Georgia relished her time in the water, even though it was VERY cold!! We'd love to go back and spend a weekend in the city. We will definitely spent more time at the beach during another warm-weather visit.
